BMC Sends Legal Notice To Rani Mukerji Over Illegal Construction
Bollywood performing artist Rani Mukerji has welcomed a crisp inconvenience for herslef over unapproved development in her Juhu cottage.
Evidently the performing artist was allowed initiation declaration (CC) for the same to her KrishnaRam lodge in Juhu in the year 2014. According to BMC records accessible on AutoDCR site the legitimacy of it was until November 2015. In any case, a portion of the activists have asserted that the tallness of the cottage was expanded after the expiry date of the CC.
As per the media reports, the BMC authorities will be going to Rani’s home alongside the police on August 30.
“The K-west ward office got objections from activists in regards to claimed development work being done illicitly, infringing upon the affirmed designs that were submitted to BMC’s Building Proposal Department. On accepting the grievance, we issued a notice to the proprietor and visited yet were not permitted to assess the premises,” said a metro official was cited saying in a Mid Day report.
Prashant Gaikwad, the colleague metro chief of K-west ward, affirmed: “We issued a notice seven days back, under area 488 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, which enables BMC to enter a building or land for examination.”
