Take a wheat flour in a bowl and add methi or kasoori methi 1 tbsp oil and water to make it into a stiff yet pliable dough.

Khakhra is a traditional Gujarati snack which is healthy, delicious and crispy with pickle, curd, ghee. The secret of best Methi Khakhra lies in rolling thinnest possible roti and cooking on low heat while continuously pressing it with wodden press or folded cloth. This recipe gets its delicious flavour from kasoori methi, which is added while preparing dough.


Whole wheat flour 1/2 Cup
Fresh Methi leaves 2 Tblsp*
Red Chilli powder 1/4 tsp
Ajwain | omam a pinch
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds|Jeera a pinch
Oil 1 tblsp
Salt as needed
