VIDEO: In IND vs ENG, Virat Kohli Gets Extremely Furious After First-Ball Duck
IND vs ENG, 5th Test: Even in the last Test of the Test series, India is facing the threat of defeat on India. India is trailing 3-1 in this series. On the fourth day of the match being played on the Oval ground in London, Virat Kohli was the first victim of first ball duck (being dismissed on the first ball) for the first time in his career.
Virat came to the crease after Cheteshwar Pujara was out cheap. Stuart Broad was the first ball of the second over. There was a light overpitch ball, Virat rolled the ball loudly and caught the edge of the balls in Johnny Bairstow’s gloves. Broad was too surprised by getting Virat’s wicket so easily. The whole team of England woke up happy.
Once Kohli was out, India’s top three batsmen had returned and the hopes of the draw in the last Test were also going on. However, Lokesh Rahul and Ajinkya Rahane did not let any wicket fall until the end of the day’s play.
Rahul (46 not out) and Rahane (not out 10) are on the crease Earlier, England declared their innings on the fourth day with 423 runs for 8 wickets on Monday. On the basis of the 40-run lead in the first innings, England gave India a target of 464 runs.
