Motorola to launch Moto E (2nd Gen) for Rs 6999 in India on March 10.
New Delhi: US based mobile phone company Motorola has decided to stick to same old cost as current model because it wants to compete with Xiaomi and other Chinese brands which are now selling their well-equipped smartphones at an affordable price. Thus, Motorola is going to launch much awaited Moto E (2nd Gen) for Rs 6999 in India on March 10.
The screen of Moto E (2nd Gen) has been increased from 4.3 inches to 4.5 inches but with same 960 x 540p resolution. The two front-facing speakers on the original Moto E have been replaced with just a single one on the top. Sitting beside it is a VGA camera which is again another noticeable change present in the successor.
The model has got auto-focusing camera, while the older model had a fixed-focus lens. The new device also sports a front-facing camera for selfies.
The second-gen Moto E has a 4.5-inch display and runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop software. It is powered by a 2390mAh battery and has got 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and advanced graphics.
The company has also released a model with 4G cellular connectivity. Motorola was bought by Lenovo Group from Google in October and the company has been making all efforts to find a strong foothold in the market by selling cheaper phones that have some features found in higher-end products.
