Since coming to power in 2016, President Rodrigo has been in the discussion for action against Corruption. The President said that it was necessary to destroy these cars brought in illegally.
Now the world has seen that we (Philippines) are a suitable place for business and investment. This is not the first time when luxury cars have been destroyed publicly in the Philippines. Earlier in February, the President had ordered the destruction of such 30 luxury cars.
Let us tell you that in February this year, President Duterte had given bulldozers on Porsche, Jaguar, Mercedes and Chevrolet Corvette. By offering a bulldozer on more than 24 cars, the President gave a strong message to those who steal tax. In February 2018, a custom Yard was supplied with a bulldozer on 20 cars. Bulldozers were run at a public event at the cost of $ 1.2 million Porsche Jaguar and Corvette. The Bureau of Customs of the Philippines destroyed these cars.
