Nayika Devi: The Warrior Queen is an upcoming period drama film that is based on the life of one of the toughest women in the history of our country who fought bravely for the dignity of her nation, Nayika Devi.
The daughter of Kadamba king of Goa, Nayiki Devi went on to become the Chalukya Queen of Gujarat and defeated the mighty invader Muhammad Ghori on the battlefield, during the 12the century.
Nayika Devi’s unflagging courage and indomitable spirit are at par with the legendary Queen of Jhansi Rani Lakshmi Bai and Rani Tarabai of the Marathas.
Now, to recognize her contribution to her motherland India, the makers decided to make the movie on her life, which is the first-ever historical drama movie of Gujarati Cinema.

This much-hyped Gujarati film is directed by Nitin G, who is known for his directorial work in the 2015 drama film What About Savarkar? and the 2019 Telugu film Ashwamedham.
It is bankrolled by Umesh Sharma under the banner of A Tree Entertainment, which also bankrolled Scam 1992 fame Pratik Gandhi and Brinda Trivedi starrer Gujarati movie “Harana”.
The film has the music and background score by Parth Thakkar while the lyrics are penned down by Chirag Tripathi.

NAYIKA DEVI: THE WARRIOR QUEEN FIRST LOOK UNVEILED
On March 8, 2021, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the makers of the movie unveiled the first look poster of this upcoming historical drama film.
The poster features the lead actress Khushi Shah in a magnificent warrior queen avatar holding an Orange flag in one hand and a blood-stained sword in the other hand, having a fearless expression on her face that depicts the glorious history.
Today on March 16, 2022, the makers unveiled another character poster from the film which features Bollywood actor Chunky Panday in a deadly evil avatar as Muhammad Ghori.
In the poster, Chunky looks merciless and wily, surrounded by arrows, with a sword in his hand and rage on his face. This deadly look of the actor made the fans speechless and raised their curiosity about the film.

Along with the character posters of the movie, the makers also revealed the release date of this most awaited historic drama. It is going to be released on May 6, 2022, on the big screens.
